I’ve been searching (again) for a reliable, easy to use and manage site for chat board,
and think this one may fit the bill:
I have used dozens of chat boards over past 10-15 yrs that are based on PHP SW,
and they are considered to be one of best-of-breed solutions for chat board.
Not too much wasted screen space, and for single $50/yr pmt once per YEAR for
the entire forum we can get rid of ads, and turn on extra features like photo upload etc.
Would definitely split cost w/ others — almost no need since so cheap.
If you browse the Support Forum at their site you can get a good feel for how the SW
is organized, with features etc. One main thing for me is TOPICS / MSGS, so you
can quickly scan for items of interest and help keep msgs organized.
