Spoke at mkt close; is in Sacramento in daily contact with Reno ironing out agreement which may be far enough along to be agreed to both sides early next week. Tuesday meet is on schedule. Is doing medical work up finish to renew pilot’s lisc and sees no problem if comfort dog can land a piston twin with supervision. Told him could apply for age exemption to be 1st officer on a Germanwings 737. No landing qualification needed.
In reality is very confident and we feel we can joke around long last. Look ahead to summer and a distinct possibility the same investors may be around for more. That means the same cash behind JV may be had to be behind Mexus itself. That’s probably more than can be said but seemed clear to me. In no rush with prospect of several decades in venture and it’s the details that count. Many can recall Rob’s need to rescue Minera Andes who never bothered to read own contract with Hochschild San Jose mine JV required them to pay demand for start up expenses BEFORE first profit realized . Get it right prior to signing anything away. Should be enough for both to profit richly simply much more important to Mexus health ongoing. 8
Was pretty much my take with a lengthy conversation I had with Paul yesterday. He came off as very positive with the “Likelihood” that both sides are in agreement. He was jovial and seemed upbeat, even mentioned he’s been sleeping pretty good as of late. So hope it’s Argonaut! Would be sweet. He also mentioned there is yet another suitor that is biting at the bit to sign on if for some reason current deal falls through. Bunch of other good stuff in the works once we get through JV hurdle. I’m getting a warm fuzzy I may be cracking a couple bottles good Zins here shortly. Not putting cart before horse, but hot damn…fingers, toes, and maybe even eyes crossed through the next week or so. Cheers,” Zins
Actually I was quoting you until he called, Zins. He’s had a non- stop year with so many obstacles personal and corporate is good to feel him easing up and let the tea leaves settle in the cup. Get back to early ’12 when all looked rosey to simply pump out $1900 gold. 8
Blast at Sonora mine Argonaut is by licensed contractor. Sound familiar? 8
“Mining Method
The mining method employed at the La Colorada Mine consists of traditional open pit drill and blast operations followed by
excavator loading of rigid body haul trucks for ore transport to a crusher and waste transport to designated dump locations.
The mine contractor Sinergia, S.A. de C.V. (“Sinergia”) drills 5.5-inch holes which are loaded with sacked ANFO. The
amount of ANFO loaded is approximately 52 kg per drill hole. Argonaut pays for explosives as is common in Mexico, but
the contractor is responsible for loading, priming and blasting of rock. Drill chips are sampled and sent to the local assay lab
for grade control map creation by the mine engineering staff.”
