Penny wager stuff? Recall Woolworth’s 5 & 10 cent store? Went bye bye years back but I loved beef and gravy plate mit taters smashed when was $.99 or $ i.99 whenever. Comfort eats in income confort zone. Then a Smootching .25 pic Covered stool if took a date pre- cinema .Ah, my wasted youth or perhaps not to have got here. 8

Comes out as hear no evil but it’s the idea. Sr year 2 hour after school janitor women’s clothing store. Woolworth on the corner cross from Sears, Salinas Valley Center encroaching on the lettuce fields Steinbeck wrote of. Phillips were real grapes of wrath movin on US 66 Oct 1937. I was 2 weeks old. Grandparents went on ahead but we caught up. Men worked rebuilding So Pacific washed out bridges that year Kern River floods. Rest is history to simply just live through.
