ITALIAN ALTAR BOY CONFESSION
‘Bless me Father, for I have sinned. I have been with a loose girl.’
The priest asks, ‘Is that you, little Dominic Savino?’
‘Yes, Father, it is.’
‘And who was the girl you were with?’
‘I can’t tell you, Father. I don’t want to ruin her reputation.’
“Well, Dominic, I’m sure to find out her name sooner or later so you may as well tell me now. Was it Tina Minetti?’
‘I cannot say.’
‘Was it Teresa Mazzarelli?’
‘I’ll never tell. ‘
‘Was it Nina Capelli?’
‘I’m sorry, but I cannot name her.’
‘Was it Cathy Piriano?’
‘My lips are sealed.’
‘Was it Rosa DiAngelo, then?’
‘Please, Father, I cannot tell you.’
The priest sighs in frustration. ‘You’re very tight lipped, and I admire that. But you’ve sinned and have to atone. You cannot be an altar boy now for 4 months. Now you go and behave yourself.’
Joey walks back to his pew, and his friend Franco slides over and whispers, ‘What’d you get?’
‘Four months vacation and five good leads.’

Dorly made Tom go thru catacism and communion, became alter boy local Cordi Marian Convent and retired priest retreat , Mexican language service now some sold great profit to our Alamo Ranch S’division, The dumb incense bomb made him puke so retired early but now sells the hell out of homes on convent property. Turned out Mary had a fine heart but better business sense ! Whooda thunk!
|’Some longtime residents have cashed in while the market is hot, the
Cordi-Marian Sisters among them. A little more than two years ago, the 18 nuns sold 176 acres to Busby.
The land wasn’t connected to their original 85 acres. They got $2 million.
Much of it will go to a new retreat center. The sisters are trying to
raise about $5 million for the center, which they hope will help them pay for health care as they age. They expect their property to become quieter when the nearby
construction is complete. “We’ve been blessed,” Jaime said. “People say as soon as they come in
they can feel the peace.” Families visit the 10-acre cemetery, attend Mass or rent Las Fuentes
Hall for wedding receptions and events. Some pray the Stations of the Cross.” |
