Struggled up our last stone stairway ever. Elevators, escalators and even gondolas now on sure no ziplines. Her challenge is last Carib cruise we’ve not been, SW Air to Port Orlando and back with 7 days to Cayman and Jamaica during T’giving week or I go as a wealthy bachelor with a balcony mini suite. Been 3 mo y’day and a slow slog. Her medics keep telling her she doesn’t LOOK sick as she rolls her cart in. Our ‘glorious coast’ now is CA 1 Santa Cruz to Big Sur via ‘quaint pastel village Carmel’ and our alps are in Tahoe. Memorized this ‘America for me’ in 7th Grade and Henry never flew a single 500 MPH league as Princeton English prof. Been there done that. We’ll get there some day in Sonora as well. Don

Don, understand completely on the rough terrain for sure! It is getting more challenging each visit for us as we age. Love, love, that highway 1 that goes along that California coastline! Monterey Bay, Pebble Beach and it is as beautiful here as it gets! Tahoe is another under appreciated beauty with her clear blue deep waters reflecting the majestic mountains and a peaceful thing to dream about on a challenging day! Kind of like Colter Bay and the Teton Mountains in Wyoming! Ah………the wonder, peace, and beauty of the Masters work!
Good news from her therapy doctors on those kind of remarks. Flattery does wonders for the confidence and ego! Sounds like Dorly is a very spunky lady, indeed!
