Miz  Ellie,
I’m pure  Okie  at  heart tho just  2  weeks  in diapers to hit  66 W from Clinton  with  2yr  brother  Val and  mom and  dad  to catch up with his  family  off S to  Corpus  Christi  first. To age 5  in Okie barefoot heaven Oildale, San Franfrisco ’43  ( never  say Frisco which is  in  Texas) big  city wanderer until after  Korea ’51 and  Salinas  where  was  home on my  ’61  driver’s lisc kept  until a  TX  Trooper  made  me  get  a  new  one  about  ’79. Was  tattered  B&W no picture.  but   while  active  duty still legit around  world. Plan was  to retire  on   some  view  lots in Cameron  park CA by  Placerville  on US 50  I bought on R&R  leave  from PI in  ’67. By ’77 retired  we  decided  we could  afford  half  pay in  TX near  hospital here  being  followed after  surgery and  NOT Sacramento area.  Every  morning   the  bus  from Prunedale drove11 miles on 101 then  past  Steinbeck’s  home  on  Central. Most  famous  kid and  wrote  about  but  disliked. Never  came  back from east. Papa H was more  my  style and  when a new  one  came out  the  world  paused to read.  Chicago  to KC Star then off  to Italy.  Did  lots but  much was  pure  bullshit  and  DID liberate  certain hotels  and bars  in  Paris in  ’44.  If  I could  swap tales  one  eve? He’d be  the one. Right  now  Paul’s  hard  to best.  Eventually  we  get  tired  blowing  smoke each other’s  behind  and  go to  bed and  start  again over  bad Folgers  Mr  Coffee.  Must  think to take own good  german Koenig’s. Reason we  do get along  well is  fact  we  both feel no need to prove  anything. Laurels  are  a  bit  faded but  do exist  all proven  and  true. Even  most  detractors can say if  we pull this one  off ( and  he  has) view  from  silver  mounted  saddle  will be  grand! D.I. ( DON IVAN! meant  ma  had  a  burn)

Well from D.I.P to J.E.W…aint  initials/ nicknames  weird?
KC’s transits I-40 were always grab something  and  gas  up  on 5  days  travel ‘tween coasts.  From USAF entry in  TX,  home to CA then SEA and  S Carolina. Finally to Germany  then TX to retire right here and  hang for  kids to enjoy what  I had  as ’37-’75  young in  Golden   State  long turned  dull brass. This  is  Military  City  with all from Alamo Freedom call in 1836 to RE Lee   from Ft Mason  to lead  South in 1861, TR’s  R Riders  in 1898, FT Sam Houston Parade  Field Wright  Bros   air mail lessons   in Wright  Flier by  Bennie Folois, Kelly  Field  and  Mexican Incursion  with 1st  Sqdn vs  Pancho Villa, WW 1 then 2, Korea  and  VietNam and  SWAsia and  on and  on.  Here  we’re  always  appreciated  so a  good  place  to be.  Texas  as  a  state is  VERY conservative  growing  low  taxed but  recent century   San Antonio  since  20’s  move  by Mex   Revolution  exodus quite  progressive. Hispanic  about  51%, 10% blacks few % asian and  then Cauc’s  a  minority. Pretty  ‘mazin we  DO get  along and  military  nexus  is  much of  that. SO I’M going  no place  long as  500 empty miles  to El Paso and  most 300  E to Sabine  River unfilled . Frack oil is  SOME future unseen a  decade back!

Dear Mr. Phillips,

Or can I call you Don? What a pleasure to have you email me here in the “Show Me State” and close to Mr. Harry Truman and Bess town! I want to personally thank you for showing us the leadership, sharing your patience, words of encouragement, and sharing your years of experience with those that are wet behind their ears. I am so happy that Mr. Paul Dent shared my email with you, because I meant every word. I am hopeful that you could forward my email or tell Mr. Paul Thompson how appreciative we all are in this family, and we are positive that there are many others that may be silent but strong supporters just like us. Thank you, Don, for the words of encouragement for Mexus and writing to make my day too! Who would have thought EA would send me an email? I don’t always get things correctly but sometimes I think that one of my gifts is the gift of discernment. I felt a powerful truth about you, Don, and thank you again for your reassurance today.
Most sincerely grateful,

Shoulda dumped RB years back!

Heroism’s  a  funny  thing.  You don’t  do it  for  reward but  without  thinking as  your  duty to others  who you  know  would  do the  same  for you  roles reversed.  Something  forgotten by one  side  Sept  11, 2011. Going  above  and  beyond is  not  earned but recognized  and awarded after  the  fact.  Same  goes  for  true shame you  can’t  avoid or  deny.  Sent  that  Mem Day blog to MMB

Dear Don,

Thanks for sharing those passages with me. They are a keeper.

Making the ultimate sacrifice applies to both those who were killed, were
maimed, and those there, such as you, who well could have been.

Bless You and Thank you for your heroism.

48 years onward if not upward

Most  unusual Memorial Day  had  to be  1966. I left  Travis AFB  , CA  Fri and  landed Clark AB, PI   June  1  cross  Intl Dateline after NW Air 707  refuel in  Seattle  and  Tokyo  as  race  was  still  going  on.  A1C  flight line  van driver  was  listening   to AF Radio on   tiny  Sony.  Found  allergic  to   tropics with a  severe  ear  infection on landing. Probably  caused  loss  of  right ear  process  in  ’80  14  years later  due  rush to make  me  combat  ready.  Went  through  ground  school in   back seat dive  bomber  B-57 from  belly  ejection  seat  B-52 Nuke  qualified,  while  grounded,  squeezed  in a  2  hr  nav rte  and  drop in dive  and  shoot level   check mission on Crow  Valley Range  S of  field  to qualify  and  on June  20th ferried  a  loss  replacement  plane  3  days  late  to DaNang SVN. Phew! Still grounded  for  a  week as  ear  flushed  daily  with meds aplenty.  Flew  one  or  more  missions  daily either  North VN attack  supply  routes  or  S VN troop support  for  Marines   doing   missions  in 1 Corps,  N S VN after  came  ashore  at  Chu Lai  S of  Da Nang  early  ’65. Were  4  Corps  areas, I  far  N  S VN., 2  Central Highlands,  3 SE Coast  and  4  around  Saigon to delta .

My next   TDY ( 60 days combat  with 60 days training  crews  at  Clark in  unusual first  USAF  JET BOMBER dropped bombs  ever with 2  Sqdns, 8th and  13th Tac Bombardment sent  down  from Japan  from planned  retirement to Air  Guard  and  boneyard)  was  in Oct  to lower  coast  Phan Rang AB for  troop support.  North VN was   a  bit  hot  for  slow  jet  daylight  stuff.. Getting shit shot  out  of  us.  Stuff  going  bang bang and  zip zip  got  old  fast! Amazing  luck to usually  miss.  Had  left  engine  shot out by  lucky  golden BB AK- 47  in Mar  ’67  over  War  Zone  C by  Cambodia  border. Any ways  we  looked  new  crew members over AFTER 1st  combat msn and  the  good  FNG’s…  F’n New  Guy… came back with  bright eyes pretty  exhilarated  to buy  a  round  at  the  club. Knew  we’d  have  trouble  with  any slinked in quiet, hung gear  and  acted  distant.  That’d  never  change after  initial combat and  we’d  schedule  good  with bad  front  and back seats  then on. In Oct  I was already  an Instructor  Nav/Bomb training new  pilots.  “Big  Dipper”, Mr  Bright  eyes!* 8

*Ursa  Major”  and D.I.P.( Don I Phillips)  Vision in combat  seemed VERY   acute . I’d  spot  the FAC below  always first . Lucky me   was 20/10  eyes not  50/50 ears involved and  used  #11  on  headset  vol.

Why I can be certain

“Dear Mr. Dent,
Good evening! We just wanted to thank you for doing a very nice job with the PR news and please pass along our heartfelt thank you to Mr. Don Phillips, and most of all Paul Thompson. Don has given us continual encouragement to hang tough, do our due diligence, patience, and keep the faith. I will admit that some days Don was very difficult for me to decipher, but I’m certain that he added a bit of zip to RB board to help entertain us! In fact, on boring gloomy days of winter he gave us some good material to laugh at. We also know that Paul Thompson has shown numerous skills to keep this start up humming along on a shoestring budget. He has also endured his own personal tragedy with the passing of his wife, and at the same time he has shown much resilience. Paul works hard, solves problems, cares about his shareholders so much and we will always be thankful to him for making this dream come true. Paul is highly respected in our minds.  I am the mother of another private investor, Ryan Walker, that you may have corresponded with on the Mexus Gold US investors board.  Ryan keeps himself so informed and he is so intelligent about about the business world. He has a thirst for knowledge and he constantly studies, reads, and listens to those that he respects in precious metals investment field. Needless to say, my husband and I are so proud of him as an honest, hardworking, and always trying to look out for his mother and dad. Our grown daughter that is an under paid school teacher is also an investor in Mexus! We are equally proud of her, and Ryan advises her on smart investments too. So you see, Mexus is a family investment and always a hot topic for discussion when we see each other. Things are now looking brighter with some official news and the new website, and in my opinion, it looks much more sophisticated and polished. In past years, we’ve invested in some other miners and at one point in time we had a wild ride with First Majestic, Tower Hill Mines, Silver Wheaton( just a royalty company for metals), Nova Gold, Hecla, Freeport Mcmorran, and Lode (the mighty Comstock). We rode the wave up and would like to catch the mighty wave again but this time of Mexus ! Thank you again, Mr. Dent, Mr. Phillips, and Mr. Thompson!
Sincerely,
The Walker family( Terry, Ryan, Alicia, and Joyce Walker)”

Dirty Harry ‏

No punk, Joyce, but made  my  day.  Family  will do well IF I do and  that’s  the goal of it all. None of  the  PM plays  you mention  have  the prospects of  Mexus. It’s that  difficult  to cut  past  the fog  of  PR to simply  know  what  exists for  real.  Always can use  some more outreach but  NOTHING like  what’s been demanded  a  single  man  flying  around  like  scheduled  airline  to get  anything  done.  Would  kill me I know  from what  I try.  Yes  having  Dent come  along when he  offered  was  a damn good thing and  is  VERY obvious  any  there  to see  and  feel  gold (a  very  unusual fever cause)   become  strong  supporters.  Not long  now for  discontent  winter  turns  to satisfied  summer.  Was  a strong psych twist  to old  Howdy  Doody and  Princess Summerfallwinterspring  more  than  than a  great  name for  a puppet turned  live. I was a  bit  old in  teens  but  sisters  watched.  Even  Peanut Gallery saw  things  move  slowly but  sure. “It’s  Mexus  time!” Don

“They like  me”, gushed  Sally Field.  So far  so good.  Assholes  even may give  you  2  whole weeks for  improve  their  10’s  OF MILLiON’S   shares.  Actually  nice  I can’t  even consider  to answer the  side  swipes. I’m well aware  w/o me ‘d  be  NOBODY in Mexus  so all worthwhile when she  runs. 8

Blazin 41

Tom’s  41  today. Last  eve  Dana  rented  Theater  2 Alamo Drafthouse  Cinema for   his  and my  favorite  Mel Brooks  Blazing  Saddles  Ouote  Out  showing   6:30.  Means  you   yell out  the good  lines, wear  props and  shoot  cap guns.  Total surprise as  was  to meet  some  clients  and as  they walked  in all his  friends  and  family  yelled out  happy  birthday and  I blasted  him with a  2  gun 12  shot  salute.  Dana   had gone  and  got  a  lame  dress,   blond  Marilyn wig  and  sang happy  birthday Mr  President. I inducted  him in Los  Caballeros  Caliente  badge of office ammo belt with tiny  Tabasco bottles. I’m  Don Jefe, Head  Hot.

Cost  was  for all 40 or  so showing, beer, wine, popcorn , fried  cheese and  fried  pickles, and a  big  sheet  cake. Tray of  Charo beans and  cap guns as  well.  I gave  him 6  large  cans of pull top  pinto beans if  the  tray wasn’t  enough.  Good  time  had  by  all. Home  by 9:30. They went  out but “I’m Tired!” 8

This seems an initial  part  of  Corp upgrade  so some  promises  being  kept. Rest  will follow or  I’m a  turd!.  Just  to have   Lemas stuff  out  front got me  going  deep inside. Nigglin shit buries  most  else after a  while. So wonder  if  the Louts are  reading here yet?  Only  oddities  been spams.

On new  web site  can review  a  lot  more easier. Going  over  Cesar’s  #1  rpt .

IF you recall…

Was  constant complaints  of  poorly  written PRs which made  Mexus look amateur? Well , missing  colons, gerund  phrases  w/o modifier, dangling  participles  are  pure rubbish compared to mine  25  miles in Cortez  Sea Paul plans to operate next.  I try to explain there’s  NO BUDGET for pro publishing yet and  if  there’s  one  who could  do so? It’d be  me. Like  or  no I’m a  paper  publisher with a  speciality Public  Info graduate cert and  punctuate  and  spell with the best  around.  When a need  to be  clear and  accurate? None better but  is  NOT the way I make  money for  self  and  others. Get  what  you pay  for so accept  what’s not. I attempt  to attract  interest at MY expense in unusual posting that  spells all out  BETWEEN colons  and commas: so far, so good. It  works  IF you’re reading. And in  my position as  large  holder, have no official position , hands  tied.  Best  go with what  you  got. Best is here but  I expect  will find both ACCURATE and  true. 8
