A Navidad parable

There  was  a  breeder  of fine Mexican  fighting  bulls. Small enough  to be  little more  than a footnote  in  the daily  corrida  broadsides plastered  on billboards around  The Plaza México situated in Mexico City, the world’s largest bullring.  In Feb  will be  the  annual

A nearby  giant   breeder’s offer  was being  made  for  the  prize   bull El Julio 2,  but was nearing the  holidays    and  the large  group offering to buy  a  share  wanted  to “Wait  as  we  need  to pay holiday bonuses” the small breeder  did  not.  They were  told, “Una buena idea , make  your offer on  Jan 5th but  will the  bull still be  there? 8

  1. That really is a good parable, EA. My feeling is the giant breeder is full of bull****.

Stop yanking us little guys around and get down to business. Unfortunately that is what happens when the little guy has little cash to make it on their own.

IMO, a second offer of some similar offering would be preferable to some giant company who thinks they own the world.

    1. Of course you can’t accept an offer that’s not been made. Seems was asked wait until after Jan and IF IS Fresnillo they must be aware of what needs to be offered to be accepted. So if there are 2 more still in the decision process they also have a pretty good idea what needs to be done to be taken on first before then. Just on a 50/50 basis is there 12,000 oz to pay $7 million to get half of? No decision tree, just a sharp chain saw. 8

  2. Keeping the faith. Sooner or later, someone will step up. If gold prices rebound next year as I expect, whoever does step up will be damn glad they did, when they produce gold with a $750 or less cost per oz.

Meanwhile let’s just enjoy the performance of a 38 yr old man named Tim Duncan. Unbelievable and amazing , makes you think the Admiral could have played another 10 years.

Do you go to any of their games?

    1. Will be a book chapter or few! Knew when weren’t great, just fun. Lost being just fun in ’99. NBA Crown means untouchable by great unwashed former open arms to fans. Now just watch as once my B&W cat Mr Tux brought us David then Sean then Tim. End of era soon. 8
